Who We Are
Chicago DBT Institute (CDBTI) is a leading private practice offering comprehensive DBT services in the northern suburbs of Chicago. We are proud to be the first DBT-Linehan Board of Certification Certified Program in Illinois and one of the few certified programs in the country. What We Offer
We provide full DBT services for:
Children, teens, and adults facing emotion regulation challenges.
Complete DBT programs including weekly individual therapy and skills training/multifamily sessions.

DBT Therapist Position
Responsibilities:
Lead weekly DBT skills training groups
Conduct individual DBT therapy sessions
Provide 24/7 phone coaching (rotated weekly every few months)
Participate in a consultation team
Schedule:
Full-time, 5 days/week (Sunday-Thursday)
Evening hours required to meet client needs
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $65K - $85K+ (split-fee model)

Paid DBT Foundational Training (provided by Behavioral Tech)
Guaranteed minimum pay for the first 3 months (most therapists reach a full caseload early)
Training & Support:
Weekly supervision provided
Prior DBT experience is a plus but not required — we will train you to become an excellent DBT therapist!
